About Eurofire Border Collies
Eurofire is situated in Johannesburg, South Africa and was registered with KUSA in 2015.
We strive to find the perfect balance between conformation, health, structure & the performance dog.
We only breed occasionally, as our focus is on dog sports: Agility, Dog Jumping, Flyball, & Conformation
Our puppies are raised in the house using a mixture of various methods. They are introduced to various types of stimulation and challenges helping them become confident adults. Before breeding, our dogs are DNA tested as well as Hip and Elbow scored.

About ShannenShannen grew up loving border collies and owned four others before importing Echo. After struggles with health in her earlier border collies, Shannen wanted a dog whom she could enjoy without concerns, she researched long and hard until she came across Echo,’s litter and decided to import her, thus starting Eurofire’s line of border collies.
Shannen competes in Agility, Conformation & Flyball. She has also competed in both cannicross and Bike joring in the past, but has now chosen to stick to her favourite disciplines. Shannen has worked at puppy daycare centres, kennels, Vet shops & animal wrangling. She has studied photography & dog behaviour (still busy). Shannen does all the puppy planning and raising at Eurofire. |
About JacquesJacques started agility in 2003 with his dog Bandit (an Australian Shepherd). He developed a passion for the sport and has been competing ever since. A few years later he got his first Border Collie, however he did not get him from a pup which led to difficulty in training.
Once he got his first Border Collie puppy Dezzi his love for the breed flourished. He is now training the siblings Riley and Jag. Jacques is a Flyball, Agility & Dog Jumping judge for KUSA as well as a Jumping and Agility judge for SADAA. Jacques helps with all the behind the scene essentials at Eurofire |
